We are a social impact company which is driven by partnering up with communities. We facilitate communities with the right tools to get the most out of their effort, and let their voices be heard.
4MedBox is constantly looking for different types of communities throughout the European Union to work together on health, lifestyle and well-being.
Regions
The Netherlands
4MedBox Netherlands has been first implemented through partnerships with private cloud providers, general practitioners and academic hospitals.
Germany
4MedBox Europe is actively working together with multiple parties in several regions in Germany, such as North Rine-Westphalia, Berlin, Lower Saxony and others. To set up 4MedBox Germany.
Italy
4MedBox Europe is actively working together with multiple parties in Italy to start up a 4MedBox Italy implementation.

Immunowars brings the fun into Health Literacy. We are partnering up to set up new ways of educating people about health.
Koplopers in de Zorg
An organisation for innovations within the healtcare system. It has many collaborations with patient organisations and institutes. We collaborate with them to implement the 4MedBox in the Netherlands.
EGP
EGP is a Dutch cloud provider, who specializes in fully automated cloud hosting. We work together on bringing the 4MedBox to life.
Projects
Personal Genetic Locker
The Personal Genetic Locker (PGL) project is creating standards for the handling of genetic and genomic data which are not present in the institute that is performing the analysis.
For the PGL we are performing the pilot implementation within the Isala hospital in collaboration with the University Medical Center Groningen. To bring the right medication to the right patient with the help of pharmacogenetics.

Societal Impact of Genetic Science (SENSE)
The SENSE proposal has been submitted with the help of 120 participants, from 45+ organisations, in which we will implement the PGL in daily practice.

Early AI Assist: Trustworthy AI for Cardiometabolic Diseases
In the Early AI Assist pre-proposal we are setting up a collaboration to facilitate Trustworthy AI for detecting the onset of Cardiometabolic Diseases.
Within Trustworthy AI the AI is regulated by a regulatory body and the data for the model is based on opt-in by the person and the right to be forgotten can be invoked.

Rick Overkleeft
Rick is one of the founders and CEO of 4MedBox. He has a background in bioinformatics, infrastructure development, service development and business. He is passionate about privacy, security and creating a real social impact with technology.
Sander van Boom
Sander is one of the founders and the CIO of 4MedBox. He has a background in enterprise architecture, legal informatics, and Machine Learning. He is passionate about the impact of new technology and the business behind it.
Arthur Schreuder
Arthur Schreuder is one of the founders and the COO of 4MedBox. He has a background in risk management, new service development, and innovation. He is passionate about innovation and creating partnerships for new impactful opportunities.
